Optional Supplementary Collection £110
A second collection may be carried out from the stud dog on the same day, known as a supplementary collection. This is then pooled with the first ejaculate to increase the volume of the sample prior to freezing, allowing for greater straw numbers.
Failed or Flush Out Collection Fee £100.80
Minimum fee charged for a collection where the dog does not produce a full ejaculate (fails to collect). We endeavour to attempt collections as many times as possible to achieve a result for you.
Epidydimal Post Castration Semen Harvest and Freeze £600
This service allows semen to be collected and frozen from the testis of the dog following euthanasia or castration (Standard storage prices apply post procedure).
Fresh Semen Collection and Artificial Insemination £216
Semen collection from stud dog & assessment on site, prior to fresh insemination. Fresh semen is assessed for motility prior to artificial insemination of the bitch. PLEASE NOTE: We do not store fresh semen on site for all breeds, semen must be collected from the stud dog on the insemination date on site for this service.

Visual Semen Assessment £116.16
Semen collection and visual assessment of the ejaculate. Verbally discussed results at time of collection. Any written report or values required in writing will be subject to a report fee of £63.84.
Essential Semen Assessment £180
Semen collection and assessment of the ejaculate. The assessment includes raw volume, PH, concentration & viability, total & progressive motility by CASA as well as bacterial culture screen. Report Included.
Comprehensive Semen Assessment £300
Includes both the 'Essential Semen Assessment' and morphological analysis along with a written report.
Chilled Extender Testing £360
For dogs who will be shipping semen chilled around the UK for AI. Chilled semen extender testing is done so with a small range of extenders that are available on the Canine market to see which extender your dog’s semen prefers to be in and which will give it the very best longevity. Includes the 'Essential Semen Assessment' on the raw sample - Samples are tested every 24 hrs for 7 days.
Morphological Analysis £200
Includes the staining and analysis of semen cells to aid identifying fertility issues. Includes full written report. Add on to any collection/assessment service.
Frozen Semen assessment £200
Thaw of one-two straws from an ejaculate for testing of concentration, viability, total and progressive motility by CASA and morphology assessment.
Bitch Services
Progesterone Testing £80.00
Our Veterinary professional will take your dog's blood sample on site and process the blood for testing in our lab. The processing and testing of samples are completed in around 2 hours.
If you prefer to have your dog's blood taken at your own vets, you can bring the blood to our lab for same day testing. To get same day results samples must arrive at our lab before 2pm.
Cytology available with every progesterone test for only £25.20.
Vaginal Cytology £67.20
Performed here at our centre and used to determine when your dog will be ovulating. £25.20 when performed alongside progesterone testing.
Fresh Artificial Insemination £235

Chilled Artificial Insemination £193
Chilled Artificial inseminations is where an insemination is performed using semen already collected and chilled and using a traditional insemination catheter. We can chill semen onsite or take delivery of semen from other fertility centres if your stud dog is far away. Please ensure you have organised the stud dog’s collection and shipping with our team prior to your female coming in to season to ensure a smooth transfer when she is ready. 10% off when progesterone bloods have been run here at Elite Kennel Fertility (£173.70).
Frozen Artificial Insemination (Transcervical insemination -TCI) £439
TCI is performed by our licenced Veterinarian with a specialised scope. Frozen semen is thawed and inseminated via the scope by our experienced team. Semen for frozen insemination will need to be in our storage facility prior to the female starting her season. Please contact our team find out how to transfer semen to our storage facility. You must have permission of use sent to our team in writing if you do not already own the semen. 10% off when progesterone bloods have been run here at Elite Kennel Fertility (£395.10).
Fresh Artificial Insemination (Transcervical insemination -TCI) £379
Perform by our licenced Veterinarian with a specialised scope. Fresh semen is collected, processed in our lab, and inseminated via the scope by our experienced team. Semen for this insemination is collected in the immediate period before insemination and on the date which your female is at her optimum for insemination. 10% off when progesterone bloods have been run here at Elite Kennel Fertility (£341.10).
Chilled Artificial Insemination (Transcervical insemination -TCI) £343
Using a specialised scope our licensed Veterinarian takes the chilled semen that has been collected either on site at a previous time (ideally within 24 hours) or a sample which has been delivered to our facility from another licenced fertility clinic. 10% off when progesterone bloods have been run here at Elite Kennel Fertility (£308.70).
Pregnancy Scanning £84
Usually performed 28-35 days after mating.

Frozen Semen Storage and Distribution
Storage of Frozen Straws £52.80 - £97.20
Minimum full annum storage fee applicable to the first 1-12 straws per client of £97.20. £6.00 per straw thereafter in addition to the minimum storage fee for the first 12 straws stored.
All semen stored or frozen after 1st July are subject to half annual storage fee (£52.80) for up to 12 straws and £3.50 per straw thereafter.
All semen storage is billed annually around December 1st in arrears. No semen storage is included in the price of freezing.

Genetic Preservation & Cloning Services
Genetic Preservation/Tissue Banking £720
Tissue collection and freezing permits whole genetic preservation of valuable animals. The procedure is safe & simple; from a minimum of three skin biopsies taken after death of an animal, the tissue sample is sterilised and sectioned before preserving and freezing in liquid nitrogen; a process that permits indefinite preservation of the animal’s DNA. This service is carried out by our sister company Gemini Genetics.
